The VAFA Board met this evening and in response to the recent increase in positive cases of COVID-19 infections across Melbourne, and in line with the State Government announcements relating to geographical lockdowns, the VAFA have decided that the 2020 VAFA season will be cancelled.

The full VAFA statement can be seen at VAFA web site.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our coaching staff, support personnel and our players for their persistence and perseverance in these very trying times and a disjointed pre-season.

We would also like to thank our sponsors and donors for their ongoing support for our club.

The club will be looking at formulating a plan around social activities that we will be able to conduct around the club, and when the government restrictions will enable these events to take place.

We are now looking forward to returning for the 2021 season when we will get the opportunity to defend our 2019 premiership. In case you missed it, here are some highlights to whet your appetite.
