Uni Blues hosted Marcellin this week in beautiful conditions to play football.The boys in Blue started out well, welcoming back a few familiar faces to the team. But to Marcellin’s credit, they pressured the Blues all day and came up trumps when the final siren sounded. Captain Andrew Lowcock played well all over the field to win the coveted UCLA t-shirt and dependable pocketer Dan Carmody continued his good form.

The Mighty Uni Blues Twos started very quietly this week against Marcellin and were only 5 points up at the first break. But the Twos' spirit shone through as the game progressed. Following on from a 10 goal final quarter last week, the Two’s piled on 9 this week to win by 85 points.

The Clubbies took on the undefeated Xavs outfit on the Crawford today. The Clubbies were right in it all day, however the Xavs unit powered on and got the points at the end of the day. 3 Goals from tennis convert Victor Dislakis was a highlight.

The Unders took on their arch rivals this week, the Blacks, on the Crawford Oval. Up by 5 goals at the major change, the Blacks came home strong before Jack Townley pulled the trigger and shot a pearler of a goal after the final siren to clinch the game for the Blues. Well done to the Unders to get their second victory of the year.
