Round 5 Results

Seniors

Uni Blues travelled down to Sportscover Arena this weekend to take on the St Bedes Mentone Tigers. The Wick whipped up its typical wind and there was a strong south westerly blowing all day.

St Bedes Mentone Tigers came out hard and had strong attack on the ball all day. The Blues tried hard all day but came up short when the fat lady sung. Credit must go to a solid backline performance all day in trying conditions. Blues return to the main next week to take on Marcellin.

Reserves

The Mighty Uni Blues Twos continued their hot form from last week taking on St Bedes Mentone Tigers at Elsternwick Park. After a slow first quater, the twos kicked away in the second before a 10 goal strong final quater. Plenty of goal kickers saw the ball shared even among the boys.

Club XVIII

The Clubbies suffered their second loss of the year at the hand of Collegains today. The Trott was not a happy hunting ground as the boys gallant efforts all day saw them come up short. Plenty of positives to take out of the game with 10-stiches Auld playing well again.
