Seniors
Uni Blues went down at Toorak Park in a hard-fought tussle with Old Xavs. It was a better start from the men in blue this week but the red and blacks still managed to have their measure at the final siren. Former Blues coach Barry Neivandt is generously donating a UCLA T-shirt to the best player each week and this weeks winner is Mark Paterson. Paterson worked incredibly hard through the middle while Mark McLeod and Dan Carmody continually ran the ball from defence. Goals were hard to come by with Andrew Lowcock, David Paton and Jono Vickers-Willis all getting two.

Reserves
The Mighty Uni Blues Twos got their season back on track with a win in the Grand Final rematch against previously unbeaten Old Xavs. Although the Blues were up by 3 goals with 5 minutes to go, Xavs fought back and the difference at the end was only 1 point. Pat Smith kicked 3 in a solid game up front, while new-comers to the club, Sam Roache and Al Lyon played well around the ground.

Club XVIII
The first loss for the year for the Uni Blues Clubbies came at the hands of Old Xav's Crocs in a rematch of last year's epic grand final. Old Xavs really came to play and their more experienced side handled the conditions much better, playing the majority of the game on their terms. Ollie Lade and Ralph Wilson worked hard through the middle of the ground, while Anthony Stewart never gave up in defence. Only 3 goals were scored for the Blues in a disappointing display.
University Blues: 3-10-28
Old Xaverians: 12-8-80
Best: O.Lade, R.Wilson, A.Stewart, L.Quin, J.Beks, T.Auld, C.Pyke

Under 19s
University Blues: 11-17-83
Rupertswood: 17-12-114
The Uni Blues Under 19s travelled to Rupertswood hoping to make it back-to-back wins and give their season some momentum. Unfortunately they came up against a ruthless Rupertswood outfit who were a bit more polished. Maxwell, Townley and Weddell continued their good form, with Jack Townley kicking 3. Ollie Robertson played a solid first game for the Unders.
Best: Maxwell, Townley, Weddell, Robertson, Hartnell, Butler
