Blues Brief Round 8, 2009
Similarly the Two's impressed with an emphatic victory over A Section newbie OE. Once again the boys started well and powered away in he second half; testament to a solid base fitness.
It was a great week all round with the Unders recording their best win of the year, knocking off ladder leaders Old Xavs with aplomb. The Clubbies also got back on the winners list, thumping St Bernards at the ‘snake pit'.

Round 8 Preview
This week the Blues take on the Bayou Maroons, Old Ivanhoe. The Hoers have had a ghastly start to the year, but have a great record against the Blues at Chelsworth Park. John Kanis will no doubt be emphasising the importance of this crucial mid-season game.
In the early game Dr Gunga's Twos will try and make life difficult for a struggling Ivanhoe, the Two's are looking ‘the goods' of late and if all goes to plan should come away with a solid victory.
The Young Guns will be aiming for another top four scalp as they take on Old Scotch at Camberwell. The Clubbies take on Prahran this week and will be striving to regain some of their early season momentum and a place in the four.
Go Blues!
